Robert Kraft, the New York private equity investor and New England Patriots owner, was recently caught up in a police sting of clandestine sex spas in Jupiter, Florida.
Trump Has Ties to Mar-a-Lago Madame Who Owned Sex Spa Where Robert Kraft Got Stung
On Friday, the Miami Herald tweeted, “President Donald Trump cheered Robert Kraft’s team to Super Bowl victory with the founder of spa where he was busted,” along with a selfie photo of President Donald Trump and Cindy Li Yang.
The two were cheering Robert Kraft’s team to victory at Trump’s Super Bowl Party.

The Herald reported:
“The woman who snapped the blurry Super Bowl selfie with the president was Li Yang, 45, a self-made entrepreneur from China who started a chain of Asian day spas in South Florida. Over the years, these establishments — many of which operate under the name Tokyo Day Spas — have gained a reputation for offering sexual services.”
But the Donald Trump-Li Yang connection is allegedly deeper than a selfie at a party.

The Miami Herald article reports Li Yang and her family have given $42,000 to Trump Victory to campaign for Donald Trump. Further, their prostitution business wasn’t their only source of income.
Mother Jones reported Saturday that the Florida massage parlor owner had advertised services to connect wealthy Chinese business executives with Donald Trump, offering the opportunity to meet the president at Mar-a-Lago and to get a photograph taken with Mr. Trump.
Why would a massage parlor chain owner whose employees allegedly offer off-menu services know Trump’s Mar-a-Lago schedule well enough to offer this sort of access to the president?
That much, for now, remains unclear.

What is clear is that the massage parlor sting that thrust Tokyo Day Spas into the public eye is deeply problematic.
Local police say they had reason to suspect that the Tokyo Day Spas were clandestine houses of prostitution disguised as massage parlors and that some of the women were being coerced to engage in sexual contact with customers.
They were somehow able to place cameras inside the spa location where Robert Kraft would soon be ensnared by their trap. They say the cameras were placed in such a way that the sex acts between the prostitutes and Robert Kraft as well as 24 other men were caught on video as proof that the men committed the crimes they’ve been charged with.
But as Channel 5 WPTV West Palm Beach reports:
“It’s still unclear just exactly how detectives were able to get hidden cameras inside Orchids of Asia Day Spa, but as a result, they say all sex acts were caught on camera.”
Regardless of how it was accomplished, this is an extraordinary intrusion into the lives and personal privacy of these sex workers and their customers. Mounting hidden cameras on another person’s property to spy on them is absolutely unacceptable behavior.
Unfortunately, Robert Kraft, who is an old man for goodness’ sake, will be facing criminal sanctions for a private, harmless act between consenting adults.
