Most coins show green today as market rises $7 billion, BTC holds $8,800

Today has been a solid day across most of the market, especially for many Altcoins. EOS, BTT and even Litecoin have all showed impressive movements as about $7 billion has come into the market in the last 24 hours.

Coin Market Capitalization/Bitcoin Dominance

As of now the total market cap is sitting at $274,973,494,381, up from about $268 billion just a day ago. Bitcoin dominance is slipping only slightly, undoubtedly due to the Altcoin pump we are currently seeing, and is now at 56.7%.

Top 10

Looking at the market leaders, we see most coins showing green today. Best performer is easily EOS with an impressive 13.99% gain to $7.89, and though nobody else is even close, Cardano (ADA) rose a nice 4.20% to $0.090 and XRP wasn’t far behind with 4.09% upside to $0.429. The only top 10 coin showing 24 hour losses currently is Binance Coin (BNB), which did slip -1.56% to $33.92.

Biggest Winners/Losers

Moving to the top 100, it appears BitTorrent Token (BTT) is having the best day of all the coins, currently enjoying a 22.09% rise to $0.0017. Next we have Maximine Coin (MXM) which jumped up 17.40% to $0.046. There were of course a few coins that slipped, and worst hit was Theta Fuel (TFUEL), dropping -7.98% to $0.0158. Another one taking a blow was Bytecoin (BCN), now down -6.07% to $0.00092.

Though many coins are showing signs of consolidation, if these levels can hold perhaps we can find strength for more upside as we head into this week. Will the market be friendly? Stick with Chepicap for all updates!
